Step 1

Make cake. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cake. Cake is 5 in. high (two layers, 2 1/2 in. high). Place cake on foil-wrapped cake board.

Step 2

Ice cake. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Use spatula to ice cake smooth.

Step 3

Decorate cake. Use tip 1M and icing to pipe rosettes randomly over top and sides of cake. Use tip 18 and icing to pipe rosettes between tip 1M rosettes.

Use pearl Color Mist to spray entire cake.
