These funny-faced fellows aren't scary! Devilishly delicious, you can make these monster fondant toppers like a pro using the Wilton Robots and Monsters Fondant and Gum Paste Mold and Decorator Preferred Fondant.
Make monster heads. Tint 1/4 oz. fondant each yellow, green and orange. Tint 1/8 oz. fondant light rose. Use robot and monsters mold to make yellow and green monster heads. Use knife to trim excess fondant. For remaining head, use mold to make pink tongue and orange head. Use knife to trim excess fondant.
Combine black icing color with lemon extract. Use brush and black icing color/lemon extract mixture to paint pupils and inside of mouths. Use brush and white-white icing color to paint eyes and teeth. Let dry 1 to 2 hours.
Make cupcakes. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cupcakes.
Decorate cupcakes. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint red. Use tip 2A, cut disposable decorating bag and red icing to pipe swirl on cupcake top. Place monster head on top of cupcake.
