For cake border bows: Tint 4 oz. portions of gum paste blue, violet and yellow. Roll out 1/8 in. thick; cut 2 1/2 x 10 in. strips, four in each color. Fold ends toward center and attach with damp brush. Pinch center. Cut a 1 x 3 in. strip for knot; wrap around center and attach in back with damp brush. Insert cotton balls in loops to hold shape and let dry on cornstarch-dusted board.
