Rated 5 out of 5 by molleigh from Several years ago I made a doll cake, but it was for my 21 year old daughter. She was getting maried and for the rehersal dinner we made the Grooms cake, but we also made the doll cake for her. We made it to look like her bridal gown (veil, train, and all). We also hid charms under the bottom of the train with ribbons attached. Each of her bridesmaids chose and pulled out a ribbon with a charm attached. Each charm gave a prediction of what was in store for the attendent (be it a wedding bell, for marriage; a baby carriage, for an upcoming child, a airplane, for a trip, etc.). Everyone really enjoyed not only the cake but the fun that the cake held for the bridal party.
