Bake and cool lamb cake using firm-textured batter such as pound cake.
Position on prepared base; ice face and inside ears smooth. Using tip 3, pipe outline eyes and mouth; outline and fill in nose (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Cover cake with tip 16 rosettes.
Adding color details to candies makes them more realistic and much more fun! For large areas of color, it's best to paint the melted candy right in the mold before the whole candy is molded using a decorator brush. Or, for very small details like vines, mouths and messages, melted candy should be piped onto molded candies using a parchment bag with a small hole cut in the tip.
Learn how to pipe beautiful rosettes, big and small, to add charming floral accents. Rosettes are a great way to create quick decorations. Different tips create different “petal” effects. Rosettes can be used to add a simple floral accent to a dessert or to cover a cake or cupcake.

Fun for Easter, or a childs birthday. Can use a multitude of techniques for the Lambs wool. Start tip, coconut, curled chocolate. Must transport carefully as the the lamb could be 'tippy'. Have also used easter eggs around the base of the lamb as Easter Decore. Fairly easy and impressive turnout.

This was quite easy. Just doing the Rosette technique made it look fluffy. I made royal icing flowers previously and put that around the lamb on top of the coconut grass that I dyed green. Added a few jelly beans too. This was a hit and very impressive to the family on Easter. Used blue icing for eyes and cut edge of jelly ban for his nose.
Make sure you put frosting underneath him so he stays in place.
