Lava-ble Dinosaurs are roaming around looking for the party! They?re easy to make ahead of time using our patterns and Color Flow icing. The palm trees are made ahead too, using royal icing leaves and pretzel rod tree trunks.
At least 48 hours in advance: Make color flow dinosaurs. Using patterns, outline dinosaurs with tip 2 and full-strength color flow; pipe in with thinned color flow in a cut parchment bag. Let dry 24 hours. Using thinned color flow, pipe spots, nose and eyes; let dry 24 hours. Attach to lollipop sticks with full-strength color flow; let dry. Also: Make palm trees. Cover back of mini ball pan with foil; spray with pan spray. Using royal icing, pipe tip 366 leaves on foil; let dry at least 24 hours. Trim end of pretzel flat. Turn leaf cluster over and pipe tip 12 mound in center; position pretzel to attach. Let dry.
Bake and cool 1-layer 8 and 10 in. cakes (2 in. high) and 2-layer 6 in. cake (3 in. high). Ice smooth in buttercream and position on cake stand. Bake and cool mini wonder mold cake; ice smooth in brown, top lava area in white. Trace cloud pattern on white paper and write message with marker; cut out and tape to lollipop stick, leaving 4 1/2 in. extended at bottom. Tint piping gel; using cut bag, pipe over top of wonder mold cake. Position on 6 in. cake. Insert cloud, trees and dinosaurs in cake. Position toppers. Pipe tip 16 pull-out grass bottom borders and on cake tops.
*Combine Violet, Rose with Black for violet shade shown. Combine Lemon Yellow with Golden Yellow for yellow shade shown. Combine Leaf Green with Lemon Yellow for green shade shown. Combine Brown with Red-Red for brown shade shown. Combine Red-Red with Orange for orange lava shown.

This is aa wonderful idea. I made this one for my grandson birthday. And he loved it especially the dinosaurs. And it was the fisrt time I used color flow.I was amazed, it gives your decoration bright and beautiful colors.The only hard part i had was finding a Mini Ball Pan. And remembering which bag of color flow was the full strength..
This was a fun project that actually turned out really well.
