Step 1

Make candy cupcakes. Melt white and light cocoa Candy Melts candy, separately, according to package directions. Use primary and garden candy colors to tint portions of melted white candy blue, green, red, light orange (for light skin tone) and black. Mix a little melted white candy with light cocoa for dark skin tone.

Use 3-D cupcake look container candy mold and melted candy to make skin tone cupcake bottoms and blue, green or red cupcake tops. Tap to settle. Chill until firm, 10 to 15 minutes. Reserve remaining candy.

Step 2

Make candy cap brims. Melt reserved blue, green and red candy. Place medium Cut-Out from rounds Cut-Outs fondant cutters on 11 in. x 7 in. x 1.5 in. non-stick biscuit/brownie pan. Fill 1/8 in. deep with melted candy. Tap to settle. Chill until firm, 10 to 15 minutes. Use medium Cut-Out to cut off 1/2 in. from edge of circle to fit round top.

Step 3

Assemble treats. Use warm knife to level edges of cupcake top and bottom candy. Fill bottom candy with mini candy-coated chocolates. Use melted candy in cut parchment bag to attach brim to cupcake top. Chill until firm, 3 to 5 minutes. Use melted candy to attach candy eyeballs. Use melted black candy to pipe outline smile. Chill until firm. Position cupcake top on cupcake bottom.
