We all know Santa Claus couldn’t do it without his little helpers, and this Joyous Toymaker Cookies set is a fun and festive way to celebrate the whole gang! Fun for Christmas entertaining or even leaving out for Santa himself, these holiday cookies pack a punch both in size and flavor! Use the Gingerbread Boy Giant Non-Stick Cookie Pan to create the large Santa cookie, which is large enough to feed 12 people! A cookie display that could double as a fun centerpiece for Christmas entertaining, these festive holiday cookies are decorated with royal icing, so decorations dry hard and won’t break during transportation.
Makes:Giant cookie serves 12; elf cookies each serve 1.
For Santa, prepare giant sugar cookie dough; press into pan
prepared with vegetable pan spray. Bake and cool cookie.
For elves, prepare roll-out dough. Roll out and cut
gingerbread boys using second smallest cutter from set. Cut
heads/caps using sugar cone cutter. Bake and cool cookies.
Step 2
Place cookies on cooling grid over parchment-covered cookie
sheet. Cover Santa?s suit area with thinned red icing.
Let set. Cover head with thinned skin tone icing. Let set. Cover
gingerbread boys and cap area of cone cookies with thinned
kelly green icing. Let set. Cover round area of cone cookies
with thinned skin tone icing. Let set.
Step 3
Decorate with full-strength icing.
For Santa, pipe tip 2A
outline belt. Pipe tip 8 outline buckle, dot eyes and nose,
outline hair curl. Pipe tip 4 dot mouth. Pipe tip 12 swirl beard,
elongated bead moustache and dot buttons.
For elves, pipe
tip 8 swirl hat trim, tip 4 zigzag pompom and dot buttons,
pull-out nose and ears. Pipe tip 2 dot eyes, outline and pipe in
mouth, bead tongue.
