Soft & Chewy Sugar Cookie Bars

1. - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray 13 in. x 9 in. pan with vegetable pan spray.
2. - In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
3. - In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
4. - Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
5. - Add flour mixture and mix until just combined.
6. - Stir in 1/2 cup chopped Candy Melts and sprinkles, as desired.
7. - Press mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle remaining candy and sprinkles over top.
8. - Bake for 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean. Remove to the cooling rack and cool completely.
