All eyes will be on the dapper diapered baby once He?s Off and Running. Sports themed border throws hints about him becoming a star athlete on the field and on the court.

Step 1
Ice sides and background areas smooth. Outline baby, facial features, diaper and cap with tip 3.
Step 2
Pipe-in whites of eyes, pupils and dot eye highlights with tip 3 (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch).
Step 3
Cover baby, diaper and cap with tip 16 stars. Pipe tip 12 small and large ball bottom border.
Step 4
Add tip 3 string seams on basketballs and baseballs. Add tip 3 dots on soccer balls. Print tip 3 message.
** Note: Combine Brown and Orange to achieve basketball color

I loved this cake and the first time I made it I did not have the proper pan so I used the design at it was beautiful....the pan does make it easier but it is so cute either way...thank you wilton for sharing your inspiration and ideas.

This is such a cute cake and not very hard to make. I've made the male and female versions of this cake and both turn out beautifully. The most difficult part of this cake is making the sports balls in the border. Just take your time with it and have fun.
