Here Comes The Gingerbread Boys Cookie
Create this dashing boy using the Wilton Giant Gingerbread Boy Cookie Set, decked in a festive scarf and trimmed with Christmas nonpareils.
Each cookie serves 1.
Prepare dough omitting baking soda. Roll out dough 1/4 in. thick. Use giant gingerbread boy cutter set to cut one solid cookie and one with features cut out. Bake and cool completely.
Prepare buttercream icing. Tint red; reserve some white.
Use spatula to ice solid cookie; sandwich with top cookie with cut out features.
Make scarf. Use tip 3 and red icing to pipe two horizontal and vertical lines for scarf.
Decorate cookie. Use tip 3 and white icing to pipe zigzags on wrists and ankles. Cover zigzags with Christmas nonpareils.
