Herb Cupcake Flower Pots

Welcome spring into your home with these adorable Cupcake Herb Pots. Made using your favorite devil's food cake mix or recipe, these little pots are decorated with chocolate icing and crushed cookies, then topped with your favorite fresh herbs. Use the Silicone Flower Pot Cups to bake these little treats, great for celebrating Mother's Day, a birthday, or the start of warm weather!

Ingredients

  • Favorite Chocolate Cake Mix or Recipe

  • Fresh herbs

  • Chocolate sandwich cookies

  • Chocolate Ready-To-Use Decorator Icing - 1 lb. Can

  • Tools

  • 10 x 16 Chrome-Plated Cooling Rack

  • Decorator Preferred 9inch Angled Spatula

  • Terra Cotta Pot Shaped Silicone Baking Cups

  • French Rolling Pin

  • Recipe Right Non-Stick Cookie Sheet, 15.25 x 10.25-Inch

  1. Bake cakes. Preheat oven to 325°F.

    Prepare batter following recipe instructions. Spray inside of flower pot cups with non-stick cooking spray. Fill each cup with ¼ cup batter. Bake on baking sheet for 16 to 19 minutes.

    Remove to cooling grid and cool completely.

  2. Decorate pots. Using spatula, ice top of cakes.

    Place sandwich cookies in re-sealable plastic bag. Using rolling pin, crush cookies to fine crumb, making “dirt”.

    Sprinkle crumbs around edge of pots.

    Garnish with fresh herbs and herb labels, if desired.
