Heat milk in medium saucepan. Slowly add powdered sugar, stirring gently so as not to add air bubbles. Keep stirring until all powdered sugar is incorporated and mixture is smooth. Keep mixture warm or it will crust over quickly.

Work quickly with this glaze! Once you pour it on a cake, it immediately sets, so if you pour too much in one area, you can't really spread it. I was able to smooth out some lumpy areas by heating up the glaze on the cake with a hairdryer.
I used it with a skull cake pan for halloween, so it was ok if it was a little lumpy.
