Prepare and roll out cookie dough. Cut using cutter. Bake and cool cookies.
Use tip 2 and outline heart section in full-strength red royal icing. Fill in with thinned red royal icing; immediately pipe random lines of thinned rose royal icing. Use a toothpick and drag end through lines to create swirl pattern. Let dry.
Use tip 5 and full-strength white royal icing and pipe pull-out lines to cover wings. Let dry.
