Rated 4 out of 5 by from how to not overbake the top I've used this pan for years. To prevent the top from overcooking, I bake the bottom for 20 minutes with a damp dishtowel in the top side, after 20 minutes carefully remove the pan and the dishtowel, spray the top with nonstick cooking spray, fill with batter and finish baking all together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Using Pan The last two times I've used the pan the top layer slid off the bottom one. I believe my mistake is not making the bottom half taller. Once you frost and decorate the top layer it collapses the bottom one due to the weight. Also, I'd advice getting the layers completely cool before frosting. Right now I am not pleased with this pan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very difficult to use I'm a semi-professional baker, and I've never disliked a pan more than I do this one. The "top" side bakes much faster than does the base, so one has to cover the top with foil so it won't burn. The base takes so much longer to bake that it's almost better to bake the base and then the top. That's a total waste of time! No matter how well I prepare the pan, something sticks somewhere. I'm putting this pan in my "Do not use again" pile.
