  1. Preheat oven 350°F. Prepare the giant cookie pan with vegetable pan spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars with electric mixer on medium-high speed until fluffy.
  4. Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth. Add flour mixture; mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread dough into prepared pan.
  5. Bake 18-22 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in pan on cooling grid for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool completely. Decorate, if desired.
