Blend Limited Edition Red Velvet Candy Melts candy and chocolate chips into rich brownie batter for a decadent fudgy red velvet brownie. Top fresh-from-the-oven brownies with red velvet Candy Melt candy and cream cheese icing for the perfect flavor combination.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare 9 in. x 9 in. square pan with vegetable pan spray.
Finely grate 1 Candy Melt candy wafer; set aside. Chop remaining Candy Melts candy.
In large saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt, stirring occasionally, until butter is completely melted. Remove saucepan from heat. Quickly stir in eggs and vanilla; stir until combined. Add flour; stir until combined and batter is very shiny; mixture will still be very warm. Stir in chocolate chips, continuing to stir until completely melted. Add 1-1/3 cups chopped Candy Melts candy; stir just until combined. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of pan comes out clean. Remove pan to cooling grid. Sprinkle remaining chopped candy on warm brownie; spread and smooth with spatula. Cool completely.
For icing, beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape side and bottom of bowl often. Spread icing over cooled brownies. Sprinkle reserved grated candy over icing. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
