Step 1

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray 13 x 9 in. pan with vegetable pan spray or Bake Easy! Non-Stick Spray.

Step 2

In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In small saucepan, melt butter and sugar with water; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add 2 cups chocolate chips; stir until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.

Step 3

In large bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer. Add chocolate mixture; mix well. Add flour mixture; stir until just combined. Stir in remaining 2 cups chocolate chips. Spread batter in prepared pan.

Step 4

Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Cool completely before cutting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The fudgy brownies were amazing. When they came out of the oven they were almost 2 inches thick. My family made a sundae with ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries. It was the best desert ever. I highly recommend making this but the nobly somewhat harder part is making the hot chocolate mixture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!!! these brownies were delicious! they were so simple and the batter tasted just like from the box, but better! although i would not call them fudgy, they were chocolatly! i did not add the extra 2 cups in the finished batter because i did not have enough left, but omg they were sooooo good even without them!!! they were moist and made a thick layer of brownies! everyone loved them and they were gone in the first 20 minutes that they came out of the oven! i would definetly reccomend and make these again!
