Step 1

Bake and cool cake.

Step 2

Using lemon yellow icing and tip 5, fill in petals. Sprinkle with yellow sugar.

Step 3

On granulated sugar-covered surface, roll out spice drops 1/8 in. thick. Cut out flower using medium flower Cut-Out. Cut out leaf using smallest leaf Cut-Out.

Step 4

Pipe dot centers on candy flowers with tip 5 and buttercream icing. Attach flowers and leaves around the bottom of cake with dots of icing.

*Combine Lemon Yellow with Golden Yellow for yellow shown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Takes a bit of work but the final impression is eye-catching. I used blue for the petals and used an array of purple and green flowers for a more cool-colored cake. Looked amazing! Highly recommend it to others.
