Game Day Football Field and Team Color Mini Cupcakes

Step 1
Bake cupcakes. Prepare cake batter according to directions. Line muffin pan cups with mini cupcake liners. Spoon batter into liners using mini scoop from set.
Step 2
Make goal posts. Refrigerate 2 candy discs. Using tape, attach goal post pattern to the cake board. Using wax paper, cover cake board and pattern, taping edges to the board so wax paper lays flag against the board. Following the directions on the package, melt 2 ounces of Yellow Candy Melt candy. Place melted candy in decorating bag; cut small hole in tip. Using melted candy, outline and fill in pattern. Chill until set, about 5 minutes. Carefully remove from wax paper. Using melted candy, pipe small amount onto bottom end of goal post Position goal post on chilled candy. Hold 1 to 2 minutes until set. Repeat steps to create second goal post.
Step 3
Tint icing. Using the combinations listed below, tint 1 cup black, 1 cup red, 1 cup dark red, 1 cup navy blue, 2 cups green. Reserve 2 cups white icing.
*Combine Red Red with Rose and Black to get dark red shown. Combine red red with rose for red shown. Combine Leaf Green with Kelly Green for green shown. Combine Royal Blue, Violet and Black for navy blue shown.
Step 4
Decorate crowd cupcakes. Pour nonpareils into a bowl. Spatula ice twelve cupcakes using white icing; dip iced cupcakes into nonpareils, coating top completely.
Step 5
Ice cupcakes. Prepare five decorating bags with tinted icing and 1M tip; Using team colors, rosettes onto twelve cupcakes. Using green icing, pipe rosettes on the remaining twenty-four cupcakes.
Step 6
Arrange cupcakes according to photo; add candy goal posts.
