Make candy goal posts. Tape goal post pattern to cookie sheet, and cover with parchment paper. Melt white Candy Melts candy in disposable decorating bag according to package directions.
Cut small point off of disposable decorating bag. Use melted candy to pipe goal posts following pattern. Chill until set, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Make cupcakes. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cupcakes.
Decorate cupcakes. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint orange. Use tip 18, a cut disposable decorating bag and orange icing to pipe stars on top of cupcakes. Carefully remove candy goal posts from parchment paper; insert into cupcakes.
