Fondant Carriage is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I said medium because I did not cover the layers in fondant. Instead I used a butter cream icing. I did follow the directions for the carriage and it came out AWESOME! I am proud of myself for stepping up to a challenge. The royal icing came out perfect (no broken mixer here, but boy, it "mashes up" quickly! One second I'm looking at a sloppy mess in the bowl - the next second my mixer is thudding along with a ball of frosting on the paddle! An extra teaspoon of water and all was well in my world!) I did make a few changes - it's gorgeous in straight white; however, my mom to be is having a girl and wanted some pink and light brown accents. I went with pink fondant pearls around each layer instead of the roping. I also made some of the circles pink and light brown to match her nursery colors. Wish I knew how to post photos - it came out GORGEOUS!! (if I do say so myself!)
