My son-in-law and I made hundreds of these for his and my daughter's wedding. They were extremely easy to use, and the results were amazing. I have zero ability in terms of decorating, crafting, choosing colors, etc, but with lots of experimenting we ended up beautiful coated cookies. The best ones were done by swirling some pink and some white-confetti in a bowl. They looked amazing and several people asked me how to make them.
I did get some help from videos showing shaking to remove bubbles and even out the candy, and I also found that it was easier to not try to coat the bottoms (tops while in the mold).
My only criticism of these particular ones is that they are so much bigger in diameter than the cookies that they take a LOT of candy, and frankly the candy isn't that good in large amounts. The heart ones turned out to be better in that regard. We also used the baby ones, which are smaller than these.

I used this and another flower mold to make flower tops for cupcakes I made for my niece's birthday. They were incredible and loved by all. A little time consuming if you are using alot of colors but well worth the look of amazment on everyone's face when told I had made them.
