Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading packaging Bought the gingerbread mold cookie tray thinking to ease the gingerbread man tradition making, poor choice. The packaging shows fully decorated gingerbread men and women. However, there isn't evan a recipe on the packaging for gingerbread. Wilton website recipe says to melt a few ingredients then stir in flour, kneed in more dry ingredients. Put some dough into sprayed non stick mold and bake. Filling mold to pan level created figures with bumpy backs. Unless they are cut to flatten the backs the cookies won't lay attractively on a plate for serving. Furthermore, unless copious amounts of time and icing are expended, the cookie front have indishguishable facial or bodily features. The recipe on the website directs completly cooling the mold to use it for the second round of baking. More time required! The packaging visually implies a facilitated method of making gingerbread men cookies. I have decided to request a refund on this mold pan and end wasting my time and kitchen space with this product. I shall scrutinize all Wilton products more closely before purchase as I recommend to anyone else from hereon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was a wonderful recipe. It was easy to make, and it makes so much (by doubling the recipe) that I was able to make several differnt gingerbread villiage things. It will be my go to recipe for my gingerbread villiage to use every year for my villiage to grow and grow. What a wonderful way to have a favorite memory that will last a lifetime. My mom is 90 years young this year, and she was able to help with the villiage, and as we continue with kids, grandkids, and even great grandkids, the villiage will become more than just a wonderful heartfelt memory, It will become part of our holiday "tradition". Loved the recipe, I think everyone who tries it will love it.
