Egg-speriment Gone Wrong Easter Egg
This fun Easter creature is covered with sweet candy details! Check out the spice drop hair-do, candy eyeballs and mini mint smile, that decorate this hard-cooked egg.
Each egg serves one
Color eggs green. Let set.
Add a pinch of Gum-Tex to 3/4 oz. fondant per egg. Tint 1/4 oz. green and reserve 1/2 oz. white.
Shape a 1 in. diameter ball of white fondant for base. Press down center. Attach egg with melted candy in cut disposable bag. Let set.
Roll out green fondant 1/16 in. thick. Use wide end of tip 3 to cut two circles for ears. Use knife to trim 1/8 in. off circles. Attach to egg with melted candy in cut disposable bag.
Roll out purple spice drops on waxed paper-covered board sprinkled with sugar. Use knife to cut 3/4 in. triangles for hair. Attach to top of egg with melted candy in cut disposable bag.
Attach green mini candy-coated chocolate nose and candy eyeballs with melted candy in cut disposable bag.
Use black FoodWriter edible color marker to draw eyebrows.
Cut a 1 1/4 in. piece of licorice for mouth; shape and attach with melted candy in cut disposable bag. Attach mint teeth with melted candy.
*Combine Leaf Green with Lemon Yellow for green shown.
