The star tip creates the most celebrated, easily accomplished decorations! The serrated edges of the star tip make ridges in the icing as you squeeze it out. Because fill in requires so much piping from the same bag, keep replenishing icing in bag.

Drawn to the Flame Cake is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thanks for a great cake idea! No fondant on hand so I used 3 small Tootsie Rolls squished together and then rolled into balls for each of the heads and ice cream cone tips covered in icing for the hats. Fondant might have been easier but this looks great too! Because the Tootsie Roll heads were brown I used a little chocolate icing for the stripes and spots. I also skipped the piping after reading the other post and remembering how tired my hands get after a whole cake! I've got some cute lady bugs here I can't wait to enjoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cake is pretty easy to do but takes a lot of strength because of the amount of piping that needs to be done. I have made this cake for a neighbor in all the colors shown here but when I made it for my daughter she chose yellow, pink and purple. Everyone loved both of cakes!
