Thanks to the smooth finish of rolled fondant, every detail stands out with strength. All of the decorating is done with buttercream and royal icing after the fondant panels are cut and positioned on the cake. Small bloom fresh flowers and a sweetly posed ornament complete the enchanted scene.
Make 1 Top and 6 Side Eyelet Lace Panels for each cake, using fondant and tips 1s, 5 and 8. Pipe tip 5 bead bottom borders on all tiers. On fondant-covered board on bottom tier, 1 in. from outside edge, use decorator brush handle to poke holes in fondant. Outline holes and pipe bead designs with tip 1s.
At reception, assemble cakes and position ornament?. Position fresh flowers in Crystal-Look Bowls.

This is a beautiful cake with lovely cut out lace. Working quickly with the fondant panels is a must so it doesn't crack or break! We made gum paste flowers that turned out great to use with this awesome cake!
