- Bake cupcakes. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool in white cupcake liners.
- Tint icing. Divide icing equally into three bowls. *Combine Kelly Green, Royal Blue and Teal icing colors to get light, medium and dark teal colors shown. Tint light, medium and dark teal using color combinations provided. Prepare three decorating bags with tip 83. Fill separately with light, medium and dark teal icing.
- One day in advance, bake cookies. Prepare cookie dough following recipe instructions. Using circle cutter, cut out cookies. Bake and cool.
- Decorate cupcakes.
- Shell Cupcake: Using medium teal icing, pipe shells, starting in center and spiraling out towards edge of cupcake.
- Reverse Shell Cupcake: Using dark teal icing, pipe reverse shells, alternating direction, around outer edge of cupcake. Using medium teal icing, pipe elongated shells in spaces between reverse shells. Using light teal icing, pipe dots in center.
- Rosette Cupcake: Using dark teal icing, pipe rosettes and dots, alternating sizes.
- Fleur de Lis Cupcake: Using light teal icing, pipe Fleur de Lis blooms around edge of cupcake. Using medium teal icing, pipe elongated shells in spaces between Fleur de Lis blooms. Using dark teal icing, pipe dot in center.
- Zig-Zag Cupcake: Using dark teal icing, pipe zig-zag line, forming triangle shape, on 1/3 of cupcake. Following the shape of the triangle, use light and medium teal icing to pipe lines to fill in rest of cupcake.
- Dots and Shells Cupcake: Using dark teal icing, pipe dots down center of cupcake. Using light teal icing, pipe alternating shells on either side of center line. Using dark teal icing, pipe dots on side of each line of shells. Using medium teal icing, pipe c-motion line on side of each line of dots.
- Artsy Shell Cupcake: Using medium teal icing, pipe four shells in center of cupcake, with tail-ends pointing towards center. Pipe four more shells between first four. Using dark teal icing, pipe second row of shells in between first row. Using light teal icing, pipe third row of shells in between second row, starting near edge and moving towards center. Using medium teal icing, pipe fourth row of shells in between third row, with tail-ends pointing towards outer edge. Using dark green icing, fill in remaining space with dots.
