Decorate square cookies. Prepare royal
icing following recipe directions. Tint a small
portion black; reserve some white. Divide
remaining icing in sixths. Tint portions rose,
leaf green, sky blue, orange, lemon yellow/
golden yellow combination (for yellow) and
violet/rose combination (for violet).
Use tip 4 and full-strength black icing to
outline square cookies
. Let set 1 to 2 hours.
Thin portions of each color. Use thinned
rose, green, blue, orange, yellow or violet
icing in cut disposable bag to flow in square
cookies. Let dry 24 hours. Reserve remaining
