Step 1

In large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add melted candy and candy flavoring to cream cheese mixture; mix until well blended; chill 1 hour. Roll into balls, about 1 teaspoon each. Roll in colored sugar, nonpareils or confectioners’ sugar. Chill 1-2 hours, or until ready to serve.

Step 2

To use as a candy center, roll into balls, about 1 teaspoon each. Melt additional Candy Melts according to package instructions. Fill each mold cavity less than 1/2 full with melted candy. Using a decorator brush, paint the candy onto the sides of each mold to the top edge. Coat mold so that no light can be seen through the shell. Chill mold for a few minutes to harden candy shell. Place mint ball in candy shells. Add additional melted candy to seal top. Tap lightly on counter. Chill until firm; unmold.
