Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soo AMAZING!!! I was making a homemade frosting for the first time. I was not very picky because I was trying to make cake pops so the consistency wasn't that important. I think you could also use this for decorating cakes. I was kind of sceptical because so many comments said that it didn't taste good. But it does!!!! I thought that if I didn't like the taste I could add vanilla extract but I loved the frosting so much that I didn't even need the vanilla.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked well for me I tried this recipe for some Halloween cupcakes my 7 year old wanted to make. We tinted the icing with a bit of orange gel coloring and the consistency worked out fine. I cut the recipe in half because we only had a few cupcakes to do. Recipe at half covered 12 regular size cupcakes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicious but not for decorating Made my friend a red velvet cake for her birthday, I used this recipe for the frosting. It's very delicious & the recipe makes more than enough for a 3 layered cake. However, this frosting is much too loose to do any sort of decoration on the cake. I would typically add more sugar to thicken the frosting but more sugar wouldn't stiffen this up.
