In medium bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, salt, cranberries and pistachios. Spoon into gift bag.

In large bowl, beat butter with electric mixer until light yellow. Add egg and mix until combined; mixture will be lumpy. Add contents of bag and beat until just combined. Form dough into a 2 in. round log. Wrap with plastic wrap; chill at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut cookie dough into 1/4 in. slices. Place on cookie sheet 2 in. apart. Bake 12-14 minutes or until lightly golden.
