Colorful Christmas Lights Bite-Size Cakes

Step 1
Make cakes. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cakes in silicone mold supported by cookie sheet.
Step 2
Ice cake bottoms with candy. Melt green, red and yellow Candy Melts candy, separately, according to package directions. Use spatula and melted candy to ice bottom of cakes. Place candy side up on parchment paper-covered cake board. Chill until firm 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 3
Cover cakes with candy. Place cakes candy side down on cooling grid over parchment paper-covered cake board. Use melted candy and cut disposable bags to cover bulb area of cakes. Tap to settle. Chill until firm 10 to 15 minutes.
Melt white Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Use melted white candy and cut disposable bag to cover socket area of cakes. Tap to settle. Chill until firm 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 4
Paint sockets. Use brush and silver Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixture to paint sockets. Let dry 15 minutes.
