Colorburst Shortbread Bars
Shortbread is comfort food, but with Colorburst Batter Bits, it?s colorful food, too! Just add these colorful bits to the dough before baking.

Make shortbread. Prepare dough following recipe directions. Mix
1 1/2 tablespoons each red and green Colorburst Batter Bits into dough. Bake and cool shortbread following recipe directions.
Ice or decorate shortbread with melted candy. Place uncut shortbread on parchment paper-covered cake board. Melt light cocoa Candy Melts candy according to package directions.
For iced shortbread, use spatula and 6 oz. melted candy to ice top. To create peaks, use bottom of spoon to lift up candy. Let set, 5 to 10 minutes.
For drizzled shortbread, use 4 oz. melted light cocoa candy in a cut disposable decorating bag to drizzle diagonally over top. Let set, 3 to 5 minutes.
Cut bars. Use knife to cut shortbread in size desired.
