Coconut Macaroons in a Treat Bag is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made these for Thanksgiving and they were a real hit! So much better than store bought. Trick is to make sure your egg whites are at room temperature and fold in sugar and coconut gently. Instead of dropping on parchment paper, I dropped them in silver lined paper cups (various sizes and designs) and decorated with melted chocolate. Great idea for Christmas too!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe was so easy. I had all the ingredients on hand. The macaroons had a light taste and didn't feel heavy or too sweet. I make macaroons for my Dad every year and this was the first time I tried this recipe. Everyone loved them. I will definitely makes these again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was my first time making the Coconut Macaroons and they were so easy to make.I did a double batch beacuse I have the big mixer and if i used only two egg whites it would be difficult to beat the egg whites to a peak. . Once the egg white are whipped to a stiff peak you gently fold in the sugar and coconut ( you must use a silicone spatula). Line your cookie sheet with Wilton parchment paper , be sure to space the cookies at least 1to 2 inches apart. Drop a rounded tablespoon onto the cookie sheet. Bake them for about 25 min. until golden brown. Let them cool on the cookie sheet( if not they wiil fall apart when hot). I put together the dry ingredients in a small glass measuring cup and covered it with saram wrap and added the instructions on how to bake them on a card . Great Christmas gifts for the office.
