Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare loaf pan with vegetable pan spray.

Step 2

For streusel, stir together brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Remove half of mixture; set aside. With a fork, mix butter into remaining mixture until it is the size of peas.

Step 3

For bread, in large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. In medium bowl, combine applesauce, oil, eggs and vanilla; blend well. Add oil mixture to flour mixture; stir until just combined. Add chopped apple and cranberries; stir until just combined. Spoon into prepared pan. Smooth top with spatula and cover with streusel mixture.

Step 4

Bake 65-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to cooling rack; cool completely.
