Make cookies one day in advance. Prepare cookie dough and roll out following recipe directions. Use star cutter from set to cut shape. Bake and cool cookies.
Ice star cookies. Prepare Color Flow icing. Tint portions red and green. Reserve some white. Use tip 2 and full-strength red, green or white icing to outline cookies. Use thinned red, green and white icing in cut disposable decorating bags to fill in. Let dry 24 hours.
Decorate holly star cookies. Use piping gel in cut disposable decorating bag to attach holly mix to white iced cookies. Let dry 1 hour.
Decorate green star cookies. Use piping gel in cut disposable decorating bag to pipe outline around outer edge of green iced cookies. Sprinkle with Christmas nonpareils. Let dry 1 hour.
Decorate polka dot star cookies. Use tip 2 and full-strength red and green icing to pipe dots on white iced cookies. Use finger dipped in cornstarch to pat smooth. Let dry 1 hour.
Decorate swirl star cookies. Use tip 2 and full-strength white icing to pipe swirls on red iced cookies. Let dry 1 hour. Use brush and gold Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixture to paint swirls. Let dry 1 hour.
