Think your loaf pan is just for just for baking bread? Think again! Now you’ve got an excuse to break out it out and make this Chunky Chocolate Peanut Butter Loaf recipe. This tasty homemade loaf is a seriously delicious slice of your favorite flavor combination. Made with semi-sweet chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter and chopped peanuts—it’s an excellent gift for any peanut butter and chocolate lover in your life. Make a big batch, because you’re going to want to keep at least one of these for yourself.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 8 in. x 4 in. loaf pan with vegetable pan spray.
In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar and baking powder. In medium bowl, whisk together milk, oil and egg. Add to flour mixture; stir until just moistened. Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips and chopped peanuts. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove to cooling rack to cool completely.
In small bowl, microwave remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips on half (50%) power, stirring every 30-45 seconds until melted. In small bowl, microwave peanut butter 15-20 seconds until melted. Drizzle both over the top of the loaf. Sprinkle with additional chocolate chips and peanuts, if using.
