These Cherry Chip Chocolate Scones are sure to become a favorite with friends and family. Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare cookie pan with parchment paper.
In food processor bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; pulse to combine. Add butter and pulse until mixture is the size of peas. Stir in cherries.
In large bowl, combine egg, 1/4 cup cream and vanilla. Add flour mixture and 1/4 cup chocolate chips; stir until just combined (do not overmix). Pat dough into a circle and cut into 8 wedges. Brush with remaining 1 tablespoon cream and sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
Bake 15-17 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of scone comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Remove from pan to cooling grid; cool.
