Baked Candy Cane Cake Donuts Recipe
This delicious recipe will be a treat during holiday breakfast or brunch.
Makes 18 donuts
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray Doughnut Pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add buttermilk, egg and butter; stir until just combined. Fill each doughnut cavity approximately 1/2 full.
Bake 4-6 minutes or until the top of the doughnuts spring back when touched. Let cool in pan for 4-5 minutes before removing. Finish the doughnuts with glaze, sprinkles or cinnamon sugar.
