Fall's signature treat gets the spotlight treatment with this Crazy Good Candy Corn Cake. It’s 5-colorful layers are wrapped in a smooth coat of white frosting, orange frosting and yellow frosting, to perfectly match its candied cousins iconic colors.

  1. Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Divide into 5 equal portions.
  2. Using Lemon Yellow and a touch of Golden Yellow icing colors, tint one portion yellow. Using Orange icing color, tint 3 portions orange. Leave remaining portion white.
  3. Bake and cool cake layers using Easy Layers pan set.
  4. Tint icing. Using Lemon Yellow and a touch of Golden Yellow icing colors, tint ½ cup icing yellow. Using Orange icing color, tint 1 cup icing orange. Leave remaining icing white.
  5. Decorate cake. Using white icing, stack cake layers, starting with yellow, followed by orange, then white.
  6. Prepare three decorating bags with tip 2A. Fill separately with yellow, orange and white icing.
  7. Starting at bottom of cake, pipe about 2 rows of yellow icing to cover yellow cake layer. Follow with about 6 rows of orange icing to cover orange cake layers. Finish with about 2 rows of white icing to cover white cake layer. Ice top of cake with white icing.
  8. Using icing smoother, smooth sides of cake. Use 13 in. angled spatula to smooth top of cake.
