In advance: Tint fondant green. Roll to 1/16 in. thickness. Use medium cutter from leaf Cut-Out to cut 28 leaves. Let dry on wave former dusted with cornstarch overnight.
Bake 13 cupcakes in a combination of pink and yellow petal cups. Cool.
Pipe swirl on tops of cupcakes with tip 2A and white icing. Sprinkle pink sugar on pink petal cup cupcakes and yellow on yellow petal cupcakes.
Position butterfly icing decorations on cupcakes. Pipe bodies on butterfly icing decorations using tip 6 and blue or violet icing.
Position cupcakes on stand and attach leaves with fondant
Your homemade cupcakes will be even more tempting when you add a pretty peak of icing on top! We used tip 2A here, but any large round tip will work.
To create a variety of curved shapes, use both sides of Flower Formers to dry leaves. You can also add a colorful flair to leaves by brushing them with a mix of clear vanilla and icing color or use pearl dust and brush color onto leaves.
