Fondant loops and streamers decorate this Bright With White Cake. The top loops are made ahead of time so they hold their shape. The Cutter/Embosser wheel cuts the decorative scalloped edge. Watch our online video.
Nothing says "celebrate" like a cake topped with a lush fondant bow. While the bow looks intricate, it's really just a grouping of fondant strips, folded, wrapped and arranged to create a full effect. When you cut strips with the Fondant Ribbon Cutter/ Embosser, you can create bows with stripes or beaded edge embossed designs. Or place fondant on Imprint Mat and roll over one time to imprint design.

This was my first use of fondant on a birthday cake for my son. The fondant was easy to use and the directions were clear. I did add some curlicues and he loved it. He even took it to the nursing home where he volunteers to share with employees there.

I'm used to using a MMF that I make myself, but was eager to try regular Fondant. I recreated this cake on a cake dummy, just to be able to practice and get familiar with how actual fondant works. It was also my first try with bows.
I love the directions on this idea - it's very step-by-step. Impressed with the outcome. I used pastels instead of the neons, but the effect was the same. Would be perfect for any celebration.
