Make a simple, versatile leaf to add realistic details to flowers. Leaf tips can also be used to make simple flowers, such as sunflowers.

Perfect for classic borders or cloudlike decorations, dots are a versatile technique that can be piped in a range of sizes. The dot technique can be used as a simple border for cakes and cookies, as well as for icing cupcakes or piping meringues.

Characters or designs are often outlined first, then piped in with stars or zigzags. Outlines can also be used for facial features.

Breathtaking Blossoms! Cake is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a beautiful cake. The detail made it fun to create. If you don't want to, or don't have the ingredients to make the top flowers out of cookie, you can use Wilton's flower candy molds. They look practically the same and are easy to whip up with leftover chocolate candies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was the first cake I ever decorated. I love the the bright colors against the white icing. The hardest part was piping the white stripes on the bottom but i throughly enjoyed piping the vines and placing the colorful flowers on. This cake is very versatile and I even added some swirl drop flowers around the base in different colors to give it a little more color (not that it needs any). This cake takes a while to complete all the components so leave a lot of time but it is definitely worth it. It looks stunning but is secretly easy, this cake is simply breathtaking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cupcakes for my daughter's third birthday with a cake with the same flowers. I made all three flowers pink on top of the white icing and the cake pink fondant with the same three fowers but white. It was amazing and my little girl loved it!
