Rated 5 out of 5 by decoratornewbie from I loved this idea. Instead of fondant for the bonnets I made sugar cookies for the brim, and added a smaller circle sugar cookie for the higher part of the hat. I used tip 47 to make ribbon frosting around the smaller cookie, and then added violets, apple blossoms and rosebuds and leaves. They were a hit with everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by walkinmomma from Made these for a family reunion held on Easter weekend-they turned out really cute! Became more creative as I progressed-even to making "feathers" and other little touches. Everyone loved them! Try using a malted milk ball or another round or square candy for the bowl of the hat to make them more edible and "kid-friendly"!
