Blonde Brownie Ice Cream Sundae

Create a show-stopping treat! Top a blonde brownie baked in the Wilton Giant Dessert Shell pan with scoops of ice cream and sundae toppings. Perfect for a child?s birthday or a summertime party, the combination of cake and ice cream makes dessert-time easier.

Step 1

Make brownie. Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray Giant Dessert Shell pan with Bake Easy Non-Stick Spray.

In small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool about 5 minutes. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract; mix well. Add flour mixture; mix until blended. Spread batter into prepared pan.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on grid.

Place on a foil-wrapped cake circle.

Step 2

Prepare icing. Prepare whipped icing according to package directions. Refrigerate.

Step 3

Decorate brownie before serving. Use a cut disposable decorating bag filled with chocolate or hot fudge sauce to pipe sauce over top and down sides of blonde brownie.

Use ice cream scoop to fill cavity with 1/2 to 1 cup of any flavor of ice cream. Place approximately 12 scoops of ice cream on brownie and pipe sauce on each scoop as it?s placed.

Use tip 1M, cut disposable decorating bag and whipped icing to pipe swirl on top of sundae. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Top with a cherry.
