Rated 5 out of 5 by from During Christmas, I couldn't find peppermint flavoring for the cookies, but I mixed crushed candy canes with the red sugar (the candy canes looked really pale after crushed) so I used the colored sugar along with it to darken the color. I used royal icing that I madeinstead of cookie icing. They tasted AMAZING!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found this design last year and it was a big hit at my house. After I found the right consistency for me they were very easy to make. Looking forward to making them again this year.
