Rated 5 out of 5 by DrBunny from I used this idea for Halloween one year when I was short on time. I used an orange and chocolate marble cake for the cupcakes and tinted 1/2 the icing orange and 1/2 purple. With cute cupcake liners and the decorative cupcake towers, this looks like you spent a lot of time when you didn't. I do make the icing a few days ahead of time to ensure that I get a deep tint. This also makes the final prep very quick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cfox2009 from These cupcakes are fun and easy to make! Great do do with kids or a great first project. The 1M Swirl is quick and easy. Kids can help with sprinkles and placing the bats and spiders on. This is also a great last minute idea that can be finished in an hour or less. I did this recipe with the Halloween Funfetti cake mix and split the icing in half and made half orange and half purple. Wilton has the candies and liners for any holiday that I have looked for and this technique can be used for any of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bsm221 from These were easy and cupcakes get and a big hit at our Halloween party. I used a chocolate cake which somewhat covers up the design on the wrapper. We didn't care, but use vanilla if you do. I used the Wilton butter cream icing recipe and just put the candy bats in.....couldn't be easier. Adorable!
