Basket of Flowers Cake is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made the flowers a couple of days prior to baking the cake. This really does save a lot of time. The basket weave is a harder design for me but I made it work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made a version of this cake for my husband's work. It was the first time I had used the basketweave, so I was a little nervous, but it came out great! Everyone loved it!! The changes I made were a brown basketweave and I put on bunches of grapes instead of flowers because he works at a store that sells wine. The thing that helped me the most was the plastic dividing sheet. It helped me to evenly mark the cake for the basketweave. After that was done the rest was a breeze! I would definately do that again. I also made the frosting to fill between the layers a soft lavender colored and flavored it with raspberry. It was a surprise to everyone when it was cut and they loved the flavored! The cake was a huge success and my husband was proud to say I had made it!
