i have not had the pleasure of doing this cake but i have made one that was in the shape of a church. the cake kit came from wilton several years ago. about 2 yrs ago i had a lady order a 70th birthday cake from me for her father he had been a minister and wanted a cake to look like a church. she showed me the picture from one of the wilton books but when i called wilton to find the kit it had been discontinued. so i came up wth aother ideal using small ceramic churches to recreate the cake . the lady called me 2 days before the event to tell me that while looking for decorations foe the party she had found the exact cake kit for that cake, and it had never been opened. se had decorated cakes a long time ago and purchased the kit but had never used it . i thought that it was so cool because it was like god had intended for me to do that cake exactly like it was suppose to be. it turned out so beautiful and even though it wasnt for a wedding it was so fiting because of his profession.
